MMTEC is honored to offer its applicants the chance to receive scholarships.
American Montessori Society Scholarships
AMS teacher education scholarships are not only included in the article “55 Biggest Scholarships for Educators,” published by Top Masters in Education—but it’s the very first entry on their list!
The scholarship award is also listed on Peterson’s, Fastweb and Cappex websites and is coming soon to several other sites.

AMS has awarded a Teacher Education Scholarship to Jennifer Sigurdson for Elementary studies at MMTEC.
This scholarship, in the amount of $1,250.00, is being awarded in honor of AMS 2018 Living Legacies D'Neil and Michael Duffy.

Joyce Frugé Teacher Education Scholarship

Mrs. Frugé is the former Early Childhood Level Coordinator of MMTEC. Since her retirement in 2004, Mrs. Frugé has continued to serve the Montessori community as a consultant, field observer, and guest presenter at MMTEC. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Montessori Society. Joyce passed away on January 7, 2017.
