Job description -
You will contribute to the warm, supportive atmosphere of our school. You are joining a team of experienced staff and a dedicated community of families. We are searching for a nurturing Toddler, Primary or Elementary lead teacher/assistant to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met. You will be required to prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and ensure that the learning environment always remains safe and follows the Montessori philosophy. As you are an excellent role model for our students.

We are looking for a full-time classroom assistant to work Monday through Friday with children ages 3-6.
We are a small private Montessori school located in Ferndale, Michigan. We serve children ages 18 months to 6 years old. We are very consistent with the children and speak to them with respect. No Montessori training is required, only a love of young children.
Duties will include, lunch set up and clean up for a Montessori classroom, supervising recess on a small playground, supporting children in the nap room, and helping children become independent throughout daily transitions.
